Without formal training, his talents have been honed to reflect his passion in creation.

Born in Waterbury, Chuck began his career by serving during the Vietnam conflict in Germany, 5th battalion, 83rd artillery, assigned as illustrator for the military.

Upon return, he worked in corporate design, at Lux Time, as head stylist, while building a following in the decorative arts. Chuck possesses the rare ability to work skillfully in diverse medium. His range includes reverse painting on glass and gold leafing while fine art is utilized in acrylic, oil, watercolor, pen, pencil and pastel. Sculpture in wood, clay or wax is also part of Chuck's innovative aptitude. Naturalist sculpture, trompe l'oiel, antique restoration, architectural rendering are included in his repertoire.

Owner of "Looking for an Artist?" Chuck has been self employed in the arts for more than 30 years. He is married to his young bride, Elaine, and together they happily reside in Roxbury. Chuck enjoys golfing and fishing and most recently celebrated his first hole in one.

Clients of acclaim include Nancy Friday, Burt Wayne, Elaine Rush, Marion Harris, and David Brinkley among others.  Chuck's restoration work is shown within the antique mannequin   collections of David Copperfield.

Noted work includes the 911 Commemorative Cancellation stamp for the USPS, the Police & Firefighter's Monument, (lives lost in duty) Waterbury Ct., Industrial Development Commission of Mid Florida, Motion Picture Division.  

Chuck is an accomplished muralist, portrait artist, landscape, seascape and still-life artist. Decorative arts collaborations have been sold by Kentshire and Sothebys, New York.

Chuck has most recently exhibited at Washington Art Association, Washington CT., The Artistic License Gallery, Oakville, CT. and The Renaissance Gallery, Litchfield CT., and was a  primary contributor  in "Art for a Cause" fundraiser for Simply Smiles Inc.

June 19 thru June 21 Chuck's work will be part of the art available at the 3rd annual Roxbury Congregational Show. Reception from 6 to 9 pm on Friday the 19th, ane Jazz at the Meetinghouse on Saturday, June 20th starting at 7pm 24 Church Street Roxbury, CT 06783

Chuck is currently accepting commissioned assignments and completing a series of European landscapes and architecturals.
